This was one of the first studies carried out using the multi-modal version of the Brisbane Strategic Travel Model (BSTM_mm). With the agreement of the BSTM_mm model developer, the scripts were modified to reflect the actual changes made to public transport for this particular cluster of scenarios.
Built the Parramatta CiTran multi-modal model with Parramatta City Council to determine the optimal car and public transport split into the CBD.
Implemented the Perth mode-choice model into the Brisbane Strategic Travel Model, resolving a matrix overwrite issue; the scripts built are still in use.
Analysed short car trips by travel purpose for a part of Sydney to identify the potential mode-shift to walking and cycling, as a starting point for planning.
