We were asked to assist with enhancing the future freight demand for an Australian capital city.
This work involved manipulating the freight demand matrix to reflect the differential growth and growth capacities of existing and future freight centres in the city, incorporating the distances between centres, as well as the future growth at defined screen lines — a complex demand adjustment exercise. The work was incorporated into the city’s strategic model.
